Aiming to express my understanding of the complex relationship between human and nature, Not Born This Way explores various environmental-friendly materials to apply in fashion design.
Transparent leaf veins were selected to show body’s curve and the texture of skin. The combination of fabric and skin express the inseparable relationship between human and nature.
Besides, inspired by crustaceans which have unique shelters to defend threats from outside, copper-colored wire is used to shape the framework of the jacket, cultivating the indifferent and metallic atmosphere of Industrial Revolution.
